Wisconsin Shooter Armed and Linked to Man Planning Government Attack

United States: A shooter who killed a student and a teacher at a religious school in Wisconsin brought two guns to the school. The shooter was also in contact with a man in California, who authorities say was planning to attack a government building. This information was shared by authorities and court documents made public on Wednesday.
Police were still to determine why the 15-year-old student of Abundant Life Christian School in Madison shot dead a fellow student and a teacher on Monday, before turning the gun on herself, Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes noted. Two of the other students who were shot were still in critical condition on Wednesday.
As reported by the Associate press the statement is copied, “We’ll never really understand what she was thinking that day, but we will endeavor to attempt to like plus or minus or give as much information to the public as possible,” Barnes said.
A California judge, meanwhile, obtained a restraining order on Tuesday under the state’s gun “red flag” law against a 20-year-old Carlsbad man. The order instructs the man to surrender his firearms and ammunition to police within 48 hours or earlier if an officer deems him a threat to himself or others.

By the order, the man stated to the FBI agents that he had been communicating with Natalie Rupnow, the shooter of Wisconsin, over the planned attack of a governmental building using a gun and an explosive device.
It doesn’t state who the building was, nor did it state when he was planning on attacking the building. It does not explain his relationships with Rupnow except for claiming that the man planned a mass shooting with her.
The student who was killed in Monday’s school shooting has been identified in an obituary that was published on Wednesday as Rubi Patricia Vergara, 14, from Madison. She was in her first year at this school and “was an avid reader, enjoyed art, singing, playing the keyboard at the family worship band as noted in the obituary”.
Phone and an e-mail sent to the girl’s family on Wednesday evening by the Associated press remained unanswered.
The Dane County medical examiner Wednesday evening released the name of the killed teacher as Erin Michelle West though the initial report had her name inaccurately as Michelle E. West.
