Will Hurricane Helene Shape the 2024 Election?

United States: Former President Trump will travel to North Carolina on Monday to see the damage caused by Hurricane Helene. He plans to visit Asheville at noon to speak to the press about the devastation.
After that, he will stop in Greenville and later attend a meeting with faith leaders in Concord, North Carolina, along with Eric Trump and Ben Carson. This visit is part of his campaign tour across the state.
The visit is one of several by Trump to the Old North State since the deadly hurricane that hit the southeast, where it caused most damage to mostly red counties that Trump won in the previous election.

As reported by the foxnews, It will also play a decisive role in decision making if the presidential election of 2024 is to be predicted — where 16 electoral votes remain on the line until Nov. 5.
When Trump travels to North Carolina on Monday, Harris will be going to both Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Harris went to North Carolina after the disastrous storm; she was a barbecue in Raleigh; she also grouped aid supplies, including diapers, that was taken to victims of the hurricane, in October.
The Democratic vice-presidential nominee, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, recently campaigned with former President Bill Clinton in a state that Trump barely claimed in the 2020 election.
President Biden has been actively engaging with the nation’s governors, having toured North Carolina and requested an additional 500 members of the active-duty military for the western portions of the state impacted most severely by the storm.
In a 6-0 vote, the North Carolina Elections Board approved an emergency restart of early voting in 13 counties across the state. These include converting or adding voting centres, ensuring that they are kept functional; extending the time that a centre is open; and adding or reducing the days during which any centre is open within the early voting period, the election board has said.
