U.S. Braces for Deadly Arctic Cold and Snowstorm Fury

United States: Mother Nature is working to bring back winter in the United States after a recent warm spell and last year’s warmest winter ever recorded. This is part of a natural effort to restore colder weather as the seasons change.
Several waves of rising levels of greatly harsh and cold arctic type of weather will envelope the eastern part of (two-third) the country over the next couple of days with dangerous low temperatures expected early next week.
It looks as temperatures are going to be mainly the lowest of the season and they are going to be low even given that is the season when it is usually cold. Cold will be consistent – more than 70 percent of the total population in the country will see below freezing temperatures in the next week – and will persist through most of the month, boosting snow’s chances.

As reported by the CNN, the first plunge of cold air will be on Wednesday, with high temperatures in the single digits and teens for such states as Montana, the Dakotas and Minnesota.
Cold air will move south and east each successive morning and for the rest of the week into the weekend. I haven’t seen any decent cold for the most part of the West since at least the fall.
Chicago will remain 10 degrees below average for the first days of January with the high 8 degrees higher in the low 20s by Friday. Though for Kansas City, Missouri, St. Louis and Cincinnati summer may not even feature temperatures going above the freezing mark.

Temperatures early Saturday will be downright cold for millions. Low temperatures will drop to single numbers in Nebraska, Iowa and Illinois while the northern parts of North Dakota may record temperatures as low as twenty-five degrees below zero.
Rain and some breezy conditions for some areas in the eastern half of the United States will only make temperatures feel even colder than the numbers suggest. Saying that one dressing should be adequate for outdoors when it is freezing is far from the real situation as dressing for wind chill which is the real feel of the winter of our world’s climate is major to avoid frost bite and hypothermia.
