‘I Tried to Kill Trump!’: Routh’s Shocking Letter 

United States: The man who according to federal authorities-points a rifle at Donald Trump as he golfed in West Palm Beach earlier this month-claimed in a letter before he was arrested “this was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump and according to the new filling by the federal prosecutors. 

Another of the investigators was informed that Ryan Wesley Routh had delivered a box to his house several months prior, and that the box contained bullets, a pipe, ‘bits and bobs ‘of construction, tools, 4 phones, and letters. The filing also revealed that when the witness received what seemed to be an assassination attempt plot, he opened the box. 

As reported by CNN, one letter addressed to “The World” said: “This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, but I failed you.” To the best of my ability, I gave it my all and the energy I could summon. You have almost burned your fingers, It is up to you now to finish the job; and I will offer USD 150,000 to whomever can complete the job. 

Trump “ended relations with Iran like a child and now the Middle East has unraveled,” the letter says. Routh, 58, was charged with of two firearm offences last week after joining the Trump International Golf Course. Other more serious charges could still be laid as the probe continues in the case. 

He will be before a judge on Monday for a detention hearing. 

The prosecutors argue that a Secret Service agent shot at Routh after seeing the stock of a rifle protruding from the forest about several holes in front of Trump’s golfing location on September 15, and that another witness was seen fleeing the scene on foot and later in an automobile. 

The complaint against Routh is that cell phone data indicates he may have been stalking the golf course less than 12 hours before the shootings. He was arrested after the police tracked his car driving along the adjacent highway. 

The prosecutors say the Routh was in the area of the Trump’s golf course and the former. President’s Mar-a-lago residence across the multiple days in the month before he was arrested and had a google search of how to travel from the Florida to Mexico in one of his phones. 

Routh also had a handwritten list of the dates and the venues where the Trump has or was expected to come in the lead-up to the 2024 presidential election. 

They also wrote about the Routh had traveled to west Palm beach form North Carolina on August 14, and the cell phone data shows him near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence and the golf course and the multiple days and the times between August 18 and September 15 and the day he was arrested said the prosecutors.
